It looks like a fine dance floor. But you can also lay down on it and it's so smooth you can roll around and slide up and down without carpet burns, you could sleep on it, and you can put furniture on top of it.

But you can't stub your butts on it or walk across it to vote..

Is it parquette or oak ;)

It's oak and I LOVE IT!! Haven't tested the sliding up and down thing yet but will let you know how I go.

Hmm I thought people could stubb their butts on anything if they weren't careful.

The Isle of Lewis is part of the Hebrides. The islands at the top left hand corner of Scotland. I was born in Stornoway, the main town on Lewis and I lived there till I was 21. It is absolutely stunning (but I’m biased) and I get sooo homesick. I live in sunny Yorkshire now and it’s nice but I still miss my island

Lucky Lucky you - a home in The Hebrides with a wooden floor - all anyone can want - well, almost.

I know, they dragged me away kicking and screaming to the big bad mainland. Then I discovered the shops and decided maybe I would stay after all.

Big Bad Mainland should only be visited. Not fit for the good, the wise or - the beautiful.

I suppose you would have a problem with your shoe fetish -it would be no good shopping online . . . .

BUT mainland is evil - every town looks just like everytown
I'm thinking of going to live in the woods to create an alternative to the local myth of Robin Hood. I just need a solar powere IMac.
